And according to the Ministry of Housing in a press release this week were held the first meetings for the preparation of two papers that the Minister of Housing requested the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP)
1. A study which contain the real social demand sheltered housing.
2. Another study with the availability of public land municipally owned residential basis.

From these meetings has already left a first agreement for the Housing Ministry and the General Directorate of Cadastre, work with the FEMP. The first step will be to identify pockets of unmet demand for social housing in towns and villages throughout the country. Then, on that basis, the General Directorate of Cadastre, in collaboration with FEMP, provided the necessary information on cadastral municipally owned land with the various municipalities.

After gathering that evidence, will intersect with the data of urban planning at the disposal of the Ministry of Housing, and in this way can locate the municipally owned land for which planning qualification provides residential and in which could build subsidized housing.
